God Bless Nicki Minaj’s Instagram

This is the Nicki Minaj workout plan (the push-ups edition).

Nicki Minaj is a real tease on Instagram. If you follow her on there or Twitter (where she forwards her filtered pics most times), you would know. Considering she hasn’t shaken her A$$ much like we’ve seen in past music videos, we’re glad she’s blessing us on IG, because we were getting nervous freak Nicki was fading away. You can’t tame that tigress, though. Remember her Halloween outfit?

Don’t take our word for it. You can see for yourself below. Whatever mood she’s in today, we thank her. Without it we wouldn’t have gotten such seductive pics.

Nicki Minaj – Chi-Raq (feat. Lil Herb)

Nicki Minaj has been back on her shit and this new track shows no signs of slowing down for her, taking a ride to “Chi-Raq” with Lil Herb. The two flame spitters give you some hard bars over the simple, but effective production to lyrically exercise on. There’s nothing like some good bars to end this night, especially when they’re doing what they do best. Look out for The Pinkprint from Nicki Minaj later this year.

Produced by Vinylz, Boi-1da & Allen Ritter.

Lil Wayne’s “The Carter V” Release Date Revealed

Like every year, the hip-hop community migrates to NBA All-Star weekend and last night the festivities in New Orleans got underway. Drake was one of the artists to have a show last night and while he was rocking during his set, he revealed some very big news about Lil Wayne‘s next album, Tha Carter V. Drizzy announced that Wayne’s next album will be released on May 5 of this year, and this comes only days after Drake took to Twitter to simply tweet the title of the album and build the hype even more. “Carter V May 5th, that’s all we focused on” proclaimed Drake on the stage while him and Wayne were performing the Take Care cut HYFR.

This is already shaping up to be a huge year for the Young Money collective, who are releasing their second collaborative album, Rise Of An Empire, on March 11 and Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint album at some point this year. Wayne has stated that the fifth installment of the Tha Carter series would possibly be his last, so this is huge news.

Future’s “Honest” Album To Feature Kanye West, Drake, Pharrell & Nicki Minaj

2014 is here and we are patiently waiting on Future‘s new album Honest. The Atlanta MC gave fans a little taste this week when he dropped his “Drunk & Love” remix and announced the album release date and cover to appear next week. Although Future has been working on the album for quite sometime, we still didn’t initially know much about the album.

That was until Rolling Stone conducted an interview with Mike WiLL Made It, which he detailed some important information on the project. He revealed that the likes of Kanye West, Drake, Pharrell, Nicki Minaj and Pusha T will all be featured on the album.

Did anyone else’s eyes just light up? It looks like Future isn’t playing around at all with this new album to bring out all the heavy hitters. Another piece of info that is worth noting is that in a recent interview with Atlanta producer Dun Deal he revealed that he did a song with Future and Drizzy titled “Beautiful People,” so it is very possible that is the collaboration for Future’s album.

Before ESPN The Magazine’s “Music Issue” hits newsstands next week, they release their video interview with Kobe Bryant; who graced one of the issues covers with Nicki Minaj. During the interview, Kobe discussed a number of issues, including his famous “rap career” and how those days are well behind him.

He also touched on not being surprised when his former coach Phil Jackson responded to Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse on Twitter; and revealed that Kendrick told Kobe that he was just “channeling is inner-Mamba” on the song. We absolutely heard that Kobe-like aggression from Dot in that verse.
