We’re now at the final stretch of the Premier League season, and with just a few weeks to go until it comes to an end, the nominees for player of the season have finally been announced. The players include Steven Gerrard, Eden Hazard, Luis Suarez, Yaya Toure, Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana, who have all made huge contributions to the 2013/14 season, even with a few important games left to play.
In one of the most competitive years we’ve seen in some time, the winner is likely to go down to the final weekend, with a considerable number of teams still fighting to make European competitions and others trying to earn points for survival.
