NBA All-Star Saturday Night in New Orleans is about to kick off and we’re about to witness what makes this weekend great. The Slam Dunk Contest, 3-pt contest, shooting stars, and skills challenge are all on deck and we’re sure plenty of surprises are on deck. Plus, you can’t forget the fact that artists like Kendrick Lamar will hit the stage during the Slam Dunk contest.

8:40 Team Curry just stepped up to the plate in the “Shooting Stars” challenge.
8:45 Team Durant just beat out Team Curry, clocking in at 1:00. They will be representing the West in the championship.
8:52 Team Hardaway clocked in with 1:25, struggling at the half court shot.
8:53 Team Bosh washes EVERY SINGLE OTHER TEAM, clocking in at :35 seconds. They will represent the East in the championship.
8:57 Team Durant locks in at 43.6 seconds in the championship round!
8:59 CHRIS BOSH DRAINS HIS FIRST HALF COURT ATTEMPT AGAIN TO WIN HIS BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPIONSHIP! No other team had a chance.

9:12 It’s time for the Skills Challenge and Demar Derozan/Giannis Antetokoumpo kick things off with 45 seconds.
9:15 Michael Carter-Williams and Victor Oladipo are about to show off going next! They clock in at 43 seconds and move on the championship!
9:20 Reggie Jackson and Goran Dragic are next up for Team West clocking in with 42.3 seconds!
9:22 Damian Lillard and Trey Burke came to win, moving on to the championship for the West with a time of 40.6.
9:30 ONE TENTH OF A SECOND SEPARATED Burke and Lillard vs. Oladipo and Carter-Williams! It was that close. Wow. Congrats to both teams!

9:43 Kevin Love kicks off the 3-point competition and puts up 16 points.
9:46 Damian Lillard ends his round with 17 points.
9:49 Marco Belinelli, the dark horse, ends up sinking 19 points, draining his last 3 money ball shots!
9:51 Steph Curry doesn’t come through in the clutch and scores 16 points, giving the win to Belinelli for the Team West.
9:57 Joe Johnson flopped bad like the Nets season and scored 11 points in real sloth fashion.
9:59 Arron Affalo beat the bar, set real low by Johnson, and scored 15 after hitting his last four shots on the money ball rack.
10:01 Bradley Beal caught FIRE and was the first to score 21 in the competition. He might actually take the trophy. Nelly with the props at the end. Fun fact, Nelly used to walk Beal to school when he was a kid.

10:03 Kyrie Irving felt the pressure and won’t be taking home a championship, only scoring 17 during his run. Cleveland loses yet again.
10:12 Bradley Beal didn’t look like he had a chance and turned it up in the clutch, tying the score and sending the 3pt contest to sudden round!
