Washington Redskins Coaches & Front Office Want RG3 Traded, Owner Saying No

Should the Redskins trade away Robert Griffin III?

Word on road around the NFL is that Washington Redskins coaches are purposely setting Robert Griffin III up for failure. It’s to the point where even players have been noticing it and have even been taking it easy on tackling the injury-prone quarterback. With the offensive-line obviously not protecting him and players not on the same page with him, the team has made Kirk Cousins the starting quarterback for week 1 action in a few days.

This comes just months after the team gave him a $16 million extension on draft night, ensuring he would see his highest pay day in 2016. Team owner Daniel Snyder has been hesitant to trade away the former college star player, as the front-office officials and coaches want to part ways – even if means flat out releasing him.

With RG3 suffering from a concussion just last week, he gave an infamous response to media about the injury saying “Hey, I just work here.” The trade market for Robert Griffin is all but non-existent as well, which the Redskins could shock the world by releasing him sometime this week. Stay tuned for more regarding this news.
