Washington Redskins running back Matt Jones has been enjoying somewhat of a breakout year, taking away carries from veteran Alfred Morris. After having an underwhelming game last week, he was looking to bounce back today against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Considering everything besides a horse collar tackle and a facemask grab is green light in the NFL, the rookie got a good lesson in hair tackles today when Fletcher Cox went straight for the jugular and pulled him down by his hair. The good news is none of it was ripped out like we’ve seen in the past. We’re sure he was in pain after the play.
