Public enemy #1, Ray Rice, has won the appeal of his indefinite suspension by the NFL and can now sign with any team through free agency. The former Baltimore Raven has suspended earlier this year for violating the league’s personal conduct policy after video surfaced of him punching his then girlfriend in an elevator.
The news rocked the NFL and brought a wave of backlash towards the commissioner, who actually changed the NFL’s conduct policy as a result of that incident.
With Rice’s reinstatement, there will still be teams weary of giving him another opportunity in fear of negative press by fans.
Who could use his services and where could he end up in the coming weeks? Early reports are pointing towards the Denver Broncos, who have experienced a multitude of running back injuries and the Indianapolis Colts, who lost Ahmad Bradshaw just a few weeks ago.
