NBA All-Star Game Starters Revealed

It might be hard to believe, but NBA All-Star weekend is almost upon us and tonight the starters for both the East and West squads were announced. The usual players on the Eastern Conference side were included, such as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony — with Kyrie Irving and Paul George getting the other two starting spots. On the Western Conference, we see injured superstar Kobe Bryant in the backcourt with Golden State rising star Steph Curry as well as Kevin Durant, Kevin Love & Blake Griffin to round out the front court starters. One notable person missing on the West squad is Dwight Howard, who was expected to be a starter.

Do remember that the All-Star starters are all based on fan voting. The rest of the rosters will be revealed next week and are selected by the NBA coaches. It will be very interesting to see if Kobe will be able to make it back in time for the game, and if not, who the West will choose to replace him in the starting lineup.

Check back next Thursday to see the completed All-Star lineups and be sure to free up your calendar to the game on February 16, 2014.
