Having nearly a $300 million team payroll, the Los Angeles Dodgers are wrapping up their first month for 2015 play. After a disappointing divisional series loss last October to the St. Louis Cardinals, the Dodgers have been out the gate for another chance winning the National League west led by Adrian Gonzalez and Zack Greinke.
Lifetime Dodgers fan and native of Los Angeles, Kendrick Lamar was home to throw the ceremonial first pitch of their Monday night game rivalry game against the World Series Champion San Francisco Giants. Unlike 50 Cent’s embarrassing affair in Queens last year with the Mets where we saw a “Curtis” moment, the Compton emcee surprised those on hand with displaying some velocity in his pitch for the Dodgers.
On a scale of @50cent to 10, @kendricklamar’s first pitch for the @Dodgers was a 7: http://t.co/uSXuVhbCBI pic.twitter.com/OcyBibKLVL
