Kemba Walker’s Game-Winner in Overtime Against Bucks

WHAT A SHOT!

The season opened up in dramatic fashion for the Charlotte Hornets at home last night against the Milwaukee Bucks, thanks to the heroics of Kemba Walker. After being down double digits in the second half, the team stormed to make a comeback and his shot with seconds left in regulation took the game to overtime.

In OT, Kemba came up big again, nailing a step-back jumper with 5 seconds remaining, putting the Hornets up two points. The Bucks could not seal it, missing a 3-pointer as the clock ran out on the ensuing drive. Charlotte won the thriller 108-106 at home.

Kemba Walker ended with a game-high 26 points, proving he’s worth every penny of that $48 million dollar contract he just got.

Lance Stephenson had 7 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists in his Hornets debut and one of the other highlights of the game, soaring for a dunk against Larry Sanders.
