Since the 2012 season, the team has won a grand total of only 71 games and has missed the playoffs three consecutive years. With back-to-back no 3 selections in the NBA Draft, they struck gold this year landing Jahlil Okafor at three, in an attempt to temporarily move forward with Joel Embiid’s foot injury.
Monday afternoon, the former Duke star big-man made his summer league debut for the Sixers and didn’t leave any viewer in disappointment. Jahlil showcased an array of offensive moves from his arsenal, including his long-range post game. But while we know what he can do on the offensive end (including dribbling on the fast break), Okafor wanted to make a point to doubters of his defensive abilities earlier.
