HBO PPV: Pacquiáo vs. Márquez | Tonight At 9

Fourth Times A Charm For Márquez? “Best Buds” Fight Once More With Imminent Rematches Scheduled.

Tonight, Juan Manuel Márquez and Manny Pacquiáo fight one more (and hopefully the last) time as the two have had three controversial finishes in prior fights with most recently last year where Manuel was the clear cut winner but lost on a majority decision due to corrupt judges. Tonight, hopefully we’ll get a clear cut winner as all eyes on the world will be on this fight as the last media “friendly” fight of the year. We’re personally looking forward to Carlos Molina knock Amir Khan’s fucking face in.

The public wanted to obviously see Pacman go up against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the fight of this century or even a re-match with Timothy Bradley for the WBO Welterweight title but we had to settle for the final chapter in the Pacquiao-Marquez rivalry. Arriving at weigh-ins last night, Manny showed up a little overweight which many are speculating he’s not completely focused on this fight with everything surrounding his life as the present time. Márquez is coming off a victory where he won the Interim WBO Light Welterweight title over Serhiy Fedchenko in a unanimous decision in his return to the L.W.D.

For the fight tonight, I expect I expect the 39-year old Márquez to finally achieve a victory over the world’s most beloved boxer in the world, Manny Pacquiao. For the sake boxing and the fight we all want to see with Floyd; if Pacman doesn’t win, we may never see that fight happen for those of you still having hopes to see it. Both fighters have virtually the same career timeline with wins/loses with the only differences being the popularity and the age. A win tonight could propel Juan into elite talks for best fighter in the world and question the legacy of Pacquiao not initially agreeing to drug test and avoiding Bradley.

Be sure to tune in tonight as this fight emanates live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Watch Live On HBO PPV at 9:00pm ET/PT.
