Frank Caliendo channels Morgan Freeman while reading LeBron return letter to Cleveland.
Earlier on Mike & Mike in the Morning, comedian and impressionist Frank Caliendo stopped by ESPN Studios for a special segment. In recent months, Caliendo’s been known for his infamous “30 for 30” Richard Sherman spoof, along with interviewing Jon Gruden as Jon Gruden; but he now takes a step further channeling his inner Morgan Freeman for more hilarity.
Two weeks ago, LeBron James announced with Sports Illustrated he was returning to Cleveland through a long heartfelt apology letter to his home. Frank would take time to think how he could incorporate the letter into a comedy bit and chose Freeman’s narrating from The Shawshank Redemption in his latest comedic spoof.
