This is a dream come true for Aubrey Graham.
The big talk surrounding Drake this past week (besides his new music and Kentucky Wildcats jinx) has been his big announcement of him hosting this year’s ESPY Awards. The NBA Countdown crew of Jalen Rose, Bill Simmons and Avery Johnson caught up with him to get his take on the subject, saying Jamie Foxx was a big inspiration for him doing it. Apparently, his hosting gig at Saturday Night Live recently gave him the confidence to do it and he’s excited for the day.
On the subject of Toronto, Drake said he’s always been into basketball and he’s proud of the city, especially since they have a projected number one pick on deck in Andrew Wiggins. He also grew up with the Raptors and considers them “Canada’s team.”
