DeAndre Jordan Opens Up About His Return to L.A. Clippers

The DeAndre Jordan Mavs vs. Clippers saga took the NBA by storm during the first week of free agency and it continues with its rippling effects across the league. Mark Cuban and the city of Dallas are now officially enemies of the Los Angeles center for his 180 flip flop after agreeing to terms with the team, then resigning with the Clippers shortly after.

Up until this point, we’ve only heard hearsay messages from those close to Jordan, and/or reports from people surrounding the Dallas and Los Angeles organizations, but now we get to hear from the man himself about what happened throughout the fiasco.

Jordan explains that he loves the city of L.A. and doesn’t know anything else, which made it hard to turn down when his teammates came to his house and talk him into staying. He knew he would disappoint a whole legion of fans and wanted to try something new in Dallas, but at the end of the day, he feels like he didn’t give it full thought until he decided to stay with the Clippers. Now his eyes are on a championship with his teammates and hosting the NBA Championship trophy in Los Angeles.
