Charles Barkley Throws Turrible First Pitch

As if Inside The NBA needed more ammo to make fun of Charles Barkley next season, he just gave them the cannon tonight after throwing the ceremonial first pitch before the Chicago Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds game. It certainly wasn’t as bad as 50 Cent or Nick Young, but he didn’t quite make it to home plate like he hoped. A little wide to the right.

Luckily, it wasn’t a foreshadowing of the game because the Cubbies ended up demolishing the Reds 7-0. Jake Arrieta held down the Chicago fort with a no-hitter through 8 innings and pitched a complete game (he struck out 13 on the night), while rookie Jorge Soler jacked one out of the park in the 7th inning and Chris Coghlan capped off a 5-run 6th inning, with RBI’s coming from him.
