Get a glimpse into The Drew Documentary
Baron Davis has been away from the NBA for three years, following a gruesome knee injury during the 2012 playoffs, but he’s still remained close to his peers of the league and the people of his city in Los Angeles. South Central’s The Drew League, has been a staple for showcasing some of the world’s best basketball players and coincidentally happens to be in the middle of one of the city’s most dangerous neighborhoods.
After spending some time at the Drew, Baron has put together a documentary to showcase the positivity the gym has brought to LA, including most of his closest friends from the league making appearances like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, James Harden and others. The project is set to premiere this June 10-18 at the Los Angeles Film Festival next month, so get a brief glimpse of what to expect from The Drew: No Excuse, Just Produce.
