Amir Khan Rearranges Chris Algieri’s Face & Calls Out Floyd Mayweather

His face, though

Since defeating Manny Pacquiao earlier this month , the billion dollar question in boxing has currently been who Floyd Mayweather is picking as his final opponent for September. Surprisingly, the most likely candidate to step in the ring against the undefeated fighter is looking like it’s going to be Amir Khan – following his latest dominant performance. Friday night, Chris Algieri challenged Khan to his WBC Silver Welterweight title and was looking for a much-needed victory, following his November defeat at the hands of Manny Pacquiao.

During the opening rounds, Algieri had Khan wobbled during the first round but one left-jab would immediately wake him up and the crowd of Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the duration of the bout.

The two would initially go back-and-forth in landing more percentage in hits, but Khan would command the fight in the later stages of less fatigue – as the quote-on-quote King of NY Algieri’s late rally wasn’t enough to catch the British fighter slipping. With the face of his opponent in critical damage, a confident Khan would non-surprisingly call out Floyd Mayweather to a potential fight we’re predicting that’s likely to take place this fall.

Other than Keith Thurman (maybe Andre Berto), who’s been very vocal at calling out the best ever, this is the most likely scenario we’re expecting unless he decides to go at Danny García.
