Now that they’re on good terms, Fif kept it light while visiting ESPN’s First Take, talking about how the two made up and why their relationship is the way it is, compared to others around Mayweather.
Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith asked Curtis about why it took so long this fight barely happened and he said because Floyd is at his pinnacle right now and the sport of boxing wouldn’t have liked Money Mayweather retiring without fighting one of his rivals. He also mentioned that Floyd has a target on his back, being undefeated, because everyone wants to see him go down and not end his career undefeated.
