Meet the new Remy
If you haven’t noticed from interviews after being released, Remy Ma is new and improved. The unfortunate experience of being convicted and locked up for six years has humbled her and taught her a lot about who she is and what not to take for granted in this life.
Her new found maturity can be seen in “The Reflection,” an inside look at Remy for who she is now and how she compared to back then. In the clip, Remy shares stories about being inside jail, speaking on what it took for her to find strength to get through her bid. She mentions her husband Papoose as a rock in her life and how he much he helped through the entire journey. Considering she is now free and enjoying every minute of it, she relates to Pharrell‘s “Happy” the most right now.
Remy also took it back to the glory days when she ran with Terror Squad and recalls what life was like when “Lean Back” was popping. It was certainly a lot different than now.
