In little over two weeks, Los Angeles trio Dilated Peoples are returning from an over eight-year hiatus to release their fifth studio album, Directors of Photography. Much like Evidence and Alchemist did with the Step Brothers album Lord Steppington, we take a look at the packaging of the new project.
The CD version is a digi-pak, containing lyrics, a special camera lens disc and 20 photo inserts, which won’t come as a surprise if you follow them on Instagram. The vinyl will come in a custom gatefold jacket, along with panel inserts of lyrics, custom printed labels and a free digital download card.
Rhymesayers are keeping the physicals alive and well.
