OS Flashback: 2pac – To Live & Die In L.A.

November 15 marks the anniversary of the release of one of the greatest albums that was ever recorded, 2pac’s (Makaveli) The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. Can you believe the album just turned 16 years old today? So to remember the classic effort, we thought we would flashback to an L.A. anthem, which was on heavy radio rotation for years after the tragic passing of Tupac Shakur, “To Live and Die In L.A.”

If you lived in L.A. at the time, you couldn’t escape it. As 2pac put it, it was “California Love part motherfucking 2, without gay-ass Dre.” The video is what Los Angeles looked like in 1996, as ‘Pac rode around a yellow old school, jam packed full of women.
