Nardwuar vs. Ab-Soul

Nardwuar invades the past of the Black Lip pastor

Last week, Ab-Soul made a trip through Canada on his These Days Tour and met up Nardwuar the Serviette for an interview at the Fortune Sound Club in Vancouver, BC. The Top Dawg Entertainment rapper was taken by a surprise when Nard opened up giving a tribute to the Carson rapper’s grandfather Cletus Anderson’s popular vinyl record Got To Give It Up. Things transitioned to discussing the Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. and drew a quick parallel to his early beginnings in music showing him a rare picture of his first group Area 51 during the 2000s.

With a blunt lit to absorb the interview he initially wanted to partake at SXSW, things out with a glimpse into two of his favorite artists being JAY Z and a Joe Budden’s self-titled debut album.
