Cam’ron outlines his imminent master-plan with MTV

Before the Cam’ron embarked on creating one of the biggest movements in the history of hip-hop, he was previously co-signed by Frank White as the next star for rap. The Harlem legend soon took up that challenge after Biggie’s unfortunate passing to release his debut album, Confessions of Fire.

After finally tapping into the mainstream, Cam would sit down with MTV during the summer of 1998 to discuss his brief history leading up to the release of his GOLD-certified LP.

Throughout the 25-minute interview, Killa Cam opens up on coming into the game with Mason Betha, seeing his friend at the time achieve pop success, ghostwriting and previous basketball aspirations.
