With a few days off from the road to enjoy Memorial Day Weekend, Kendrick Lamar was Bay Area bound last Friday to shoot the next music visual for his GOLD-certified major sophomore album, To Pimp a Butterfly. While the LP has received critical acclaim and on its way to an inevitable Platinum certification before the year’s end, K. Dot’s Pharrell Williams and Sounwave-produced cut “Alright” will serve as a follow-up to his “King Kunta” visual.
The Compton rapper called for his dedicated Oakland and San Francisco fans to join him for the video, which you can take a brief look at some of the behind-the-scenes photos before it arrives in a few weeks.
