Kendrick Lamar Joins Prince On Stage At Album Release Show

Last night at Prince‘s Paisley Park studio in Minneapolis, the mulch-talented musician held a release party for his two new albums, Art Official Age and 3RDEYEGIRL’s PlectrumElectrum. If you tuned in to the live stream on Yahoo! last night, then you saw what took place at the two-hour event. Aside from touring the 65,000-square-foot Paisley Park estate and seeing numerous interviews with recent collaborators of the Purple One latest material, we were also presented with a 20-minute set from Prince, where he was joined by Kendrick Lamar, who debuted a new verse over Prince’s “What’s My Name” featured on the 1998 album Crystal Ball, which you can see in the clip above.
