Following the release of their recent The Beauty of Independence EP, G-Unit stopped by affiliate Eminem’s Shade 45 radio station for an interview with the L.A. Leakers. The group revealed plans of a follow-up EP last week, but revealed the project’s official title The Beast Is G-Unit to be released in the near future. With 50 Cent citing the group’s already recorded nearly 40 songs, they’re just going through to pick out material over the next few weeks, to pilot promotions for their official full-length offering later this year.
The interview also touches on why Compton rapper The Game wasn’t involved in the reunion, their independence from the majors and upcoming solo projects we can expect soon.
