FORBES: Wealthiest Hip-Hop Earners 2015

Find out who cashed out this year in FORBES FAB 5

For the second consecutive year, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs tops all contributors of hip-hop as the year’s wealthiest person over the last calendar year. Puffy saw much success over the year with Diageo’s Ciroc vodka, Sean John of course, his Aquahydrate waterbrand and the rising music network REVOLT to see his value rise to $725 million.

Surprisingly, even after Dr. Dre’s sale of his Beats by Dre brand to apple for $3.2 Billion last year wasn’t enough to put him over the top of his long-time FORBES rival. The Compton pioneer, however, did have the highest increase in revenue generating a $200 million increase. Shawn Corey Carter remained the no. 3 earner, seeing his wealth raise by $20 million – highlighted by the launch of his music streaming service TiDAL and the obvious Roc Nation empire. Take a look at the entire list below and a brief informative video above.

1. Diddy – $725 Million
2. Dr. Dre – $700 Million
3. JAY Z – $550 Million
4. 50 Cent – $155 Million
5. Birdman – $150 Million
