The fact that Meow The Jewels is actually happening is a lot to take in on its own, but to watch it pan out is something else. Rightly enough, El-P visited an animal shelter to begin the auditions for the Run The Jewels side project. The rapper took songs from their second album and played them to the cats to find out their reaction, but it didn’t run as smoothly as expected. “They keep showing me their assholes.”
