If you remember back to August rightly, you will remember that Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y revealed the the artwork for their highly anticipated collaboration project, along with the release date of the 9th – the anniversary of their well-received How Fly mixtape. When the date actually arrived, we were told that it had to be pushed back because of samples used within their free offering, which was evidently troubled by the case of Lord Finesse suing Mac Miller for the same reasons.
However, Curren$y recently took to Twitter to announce that Live In Concert is now set be released as a retail album rather than a free gift, due to amount of money being taxed out of their favor. To be real, we’ll be glad to see the piece of work enter the light of day in any form.
Honestly with the way the legal beagles r Finna tax us…. #liveinconcert is gonna have to be a retail project… Y’all still down??
