“King Kunta” made a grand premiere, playing coast to coast in Times Square and Los Angeles at the same time. The fact the video wasn’t full HD was different as well, as Director X decided to crop the visual and make it more social media friendly for Instagram and Vine. Today we get some behind-the-scenes action for the video that took place in Compton. You can see some of Kendrick Lamar‘s homies, people from the neighborhood and some never-before-seen shots that took place the day they shot the clip in the video above. Overall, it looked like a fun time.
