Def Jam recording artist August Alsina has been pretty quite as of late, but today he puts a stop to that as he debuts the official music video for his new single “Downtown” featuring Kidd Kidd. A record which originally can be heard on his The Product 2 mixtape, but now serves as the lead single and title track to his upcoming EP Downtown: Life Under the Gun, set to hit iTunes August 20th. In the new video for the powerful track, the New Orleans born and bred singer heads back home to bring the stories of loved ones he’s lost to the streets to the big screen and show what it’s like in one of the nations most dangerous cities.
