The Al Lindstrom week-long discussion concerning some major players and rookies this year in Rap finally comes to a close with the title of MVP. The roundtable of Joe La Puma, Charlamagne Tha God, Jayson Rodriguez, Combat Jack and Jeff Sledge all had heated arguments on who should get the crown and it seemed like the winner was almost unanimous.
With names in the pot like Drake, Nicki Minaj, Killer Mike, Young Jeezy and more, they all went back and forth on who had the most influence in rap this year, ultimately giving it to October’s Very Own without even putting an album out. This marks the second year in a row that he wins the title.
