Fresh off hearing the collaboration between Troy Ave and 50 Cent, Fif elaborated a little of what he thought of Troy Ave at first to MTV. Apparently, Troy will have some music in the second season of Power, and “Bang Bang” is just the start. Check out what Fif had to say about the Brooklyn rapper down below.
“For me, I wasn’t sure if I liked him. For me, I heard too much of me in the material. And then when I started to hear him in the music…you gotta look at things… sometimes you have to take a step back and take a look at it. Intially when I look, I go, I don’t like that. It’s too much. It’s a copy, it’s a copy. Then when you step back and you look at it, you say no, he grew up in a time period when that was the most effective music out at that point so it affected him creatively and it’s cool.”
