N.W.A. better make it in!!!
After enjoying much success with the film Straight Outta Compton, N.W.A. is trying to seal the deal and cap off 2015 as one of their most successful years ever, by making it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The group is in the nominations for 2016, alongside Janet Jackson, Chicago, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, the Cars, Los Lobos, Chaka Khan, Chic, Steve Miller, Nine Inch Nails, the Smiths, the Spinners and the J.B.’s.
This isn’t the first time the World’s Most Dangerous Group gets nominated, with the first year of eligibility being 2012, but being passed on. Since then, they have racked up multiple nominations, but haven’t seen their induction as of yet. Obviously, the movie will boost their confidence to finally making it to the hall.
Fans can vote for their favorite artists over at http://www.rockhall.org/ from October 8 through December 9 as each has a chance of earning a fan ballot and gives the 700 voting members a good view of who the fans want in.
