CD sales have been damn near obsolete since the invention of mp3s and one business who knows that all too well is Tower Records. The corporate giant has now become extinct thanks to the Internet and the new documentary All Things Must Pass explores the rise and fall of the company. The SXSW favorite is directed by Colin Hanks and features interviews with Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John as well as Tower founder Ross Solomon. They all talk about the historical impact the store had on the music industry and its ultimate demise.
