Vince Vaughn Joins Colin Farrell
A matter of days ago, it was announced that Colin Farrell would officially star in the second season of HBO’s thrilling crime drama, True Detective. Today, confirmation has arrived that Vince Vaughn is also set to appear in the next season alongside Farrell. Can these two live up to original success of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson? Justin Lin (Fast & Furious) will direct the first two episodes, with the series taking a focus on a conspiracy after a murder.
As far the plot, so far we’ve learned that Farrell will play the role of Ray Velcoro, who is torn between a mob boss who owns him and his allegiance to a corrupt police department. Vaughn will play Frank Semyon, a career criminal that tries to go legit and run a clean business, but the death of his business partner has his empire ready to crumble.
