Sony’s 4K Ultra HDTV Line Arrives This Summer

The superior 4K experience? Sony thinks so!

While our attention has been focused on Samsung’s upcoming 4K SUHDTV line ranging from 40 to 78 inches, Sony finally reveals some long-awaited information on their super-thin 4K HDTV series, which has been officially dated to hit retail and online this summer. While the highest tier pricing for the new line of sexy 4K displays from Sony will be cheaper than Samsung’s collection where some are willing to pay up to $10,000 alone for, the lowest prices will start at $1,300 for a basic 43” model – available now for pre-order to arrive in May.

Unfortunately, the 75” X910C model still yet to be revealed in price, Sony Electronics issued a formal press release for their upcoming 4K Ultra HD TV lineup complete that you can read in full below.

Our decade of experience allows us to now improve color accuracy and clarity even better than before,” said Taka Fujita, vice president of home entertainment and sound at Sony Electronics. “And now, by pairing our unrivaled picture quality with Android TV, we are setting out to provide our customers with the best user experience possible.” “With screen sizes starting at 43″ and going up to our 180″ large screen 4K projectors, Sony’s new lineup offers a 4K solution for almost every room and situation,” added Fujita.

The X900C and X910C will be available this summer, pricing to be announced.
