Tobey Maguire Stars As Chess Champion
Who knew chess could kick up such a fuss? Blood Diamond director Edward Zwick is preparing his new film Pawn Sacrifice with a trailer this week. In a true story set during the Cold War, Tobey Maguire stars as Bobby Fischer, a young boy from Brooklyn who rises to become a chess prodigy who goes up against the Soviet Empire. The movie hits theaters on September 18th and also stars Liev Schreiber, Lily Rabe, Peter Sarsgaard and Michael Stuhlbarg.
