John Oliver Breaks Down What The Super Bowl Means To Him

It’s hard for British people to understand what the Super Bowl or American Football is. They might have a grasp on the NBA, but not as much as Americans. Talk soccer to them and they know all about it, though. Case in point John Oliver, who talked to David Letterman this week about the phenomenon that is Super Bowl Sunday.

As you can guess, he has tried hard to process the event, saying it’s very intimidating (aside from happy, patriotic, sad, and incredibly dangerous) to the rest of the world.
