“You don’t have to clear your throat for a lip sync battle!”
We’ve seen everyone from Paul Rudd and Emma Stone take part in lip sync battles on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. However, the latest to join in the fun was Gwen Stafani and Blake Shelton, who stopped by for a worthy contest alongside Jimmy Fallon. The chosen songs included “Puttin’ On the Ritz,” “Burn,” “Call Me Maybe” and many others.
The two singers gave Jimmy stiff competition, with Shelton picking the best songs, in terms of what you’d expect from him. Starship with a Southern drawl? Jimmy’s Ellie Goulding impression was good too. It got enough of a rise from Gwen, who threw shade and said “Kimmel” instead of “Fallon.” The battle ended in a bit of a surprise, with an unexpected duet.
