Last decade, long-time fans of the Marvel superhero series, Fantastic Four, were granted two films within a two-year time-span. Even with a cast featuring the likes of Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Kerry Washington wasn’t enough for our liking – which the two efforts produced high mediocrity.
Now 8 years later and a fresh cast of new faces, the franchise is rebooted and is looking to finally generate the replay value of a motion picture we’ve been waiting for over 20 years.
Today, we’re granted the very first glimpse into the upcoming summer blockbuster release for Marvel’s original and longest running superhero team, The Fantastic Four. Although the trailer unfortunately provides no storyline scenes or even a live look at The Thing, we’re shown various scenes throughout the film with its new cast of stars – leaving us intrigued for an official trailer roll-out in the coming weeks.
Starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell, Reg E. Cathey and Tim Blake Nelson – look for Marvel Entertainment’s The Fantastic Four to hit theaters nationwide on August 7, 2015.
