‘Furious 8’ Arrives in 2017
F. Gary Gray is only just coming off the success of Straight Outta Compton, but he’s making even more power moves as the frontrunner to direct Furious 8. Vin Diesel, one of the stars of the longtime series, posted a photo of himself and the director on Facebook this week, in front of images from the franchise.
The pair previously worked together on the action film A Man Apart in 2003. Fast 8 is expected to be out April 14th in 2017, which will be the follow-up to this year’s Furious 7 directed by James Wan.
