Azealia Banks’ Full Playboy Feature

She opens up for Playboy

Azealia BanksPlayboy shoot has been the talk surrounding her ever since the cover and news about it came out, but now the full spread and interview with the artist is out for you to enjoy. The rapper gets into a plethora of subjects in the issue, speaking about her childhood upbringing with her mother, always wanting to get naked for photo shoots, how her tweets are misconstrued compared to someone like Lorde, her career and making music independently as opposed to on a major label, being of the 21 Divisions religion when she was younger and the artists she looks at as intelligent musicians.

What’s the longest relationship you’ve had?
Four years. It started when I was 17. He was 43. There’s something very wrong with a man that age who wants to date a 17-year-old girl. I didn’t know how to shave my bush and shit like that. I had a hairy pussy. I didn’t know how to wear perfume. I had neon pink barrettes in my hair. And as “212” started to pop off and my career started to happen, he became jealous. He choked me and beat me up, and of course you should not be fucking with a man who puts his hands on you, but I was stupid and young.
