Electronic Arts dominates the month of august in gaming
The official August NPD sales for North America have arrived and Madden NFL 15 sits atop the throne for the highest seller of the month. In comparison to previous months of extending its reign as no. 1, we expect Destiny to overtake the top spot in a few weeks following its $500 million opening affair. Sony’s PlayStation 4 still leads the pack of consoles for the 8th consecutive month of the highest rated selling piece of hardware – with Microsoft slowly gaining ground after another 100% increase in sales following the Kinect-less SKU release.
