Sherman gets last laugh in pre-season Madden NFL 15 rankings as numero uno!

Last week, Electronic Arts Sports revealed top 5 for running backs, quarter backs, rookies and full backs for the next installment of their legendary Madden NFL franchise. With just under 4 weeks left until the game goes retail and digital, we learn the official ratings for tight-ends, defensive-ends, linebackers and cornerbacks. This week, Sherman has been the center of attention, engaging in a twitter rift with Arizona Cardinals corner, Patrick Peterson.

Minutes following the announcement Peterson had overlapped Richard as the highest-paid cornerback in the league, Sherman retweeted a Cody Swartz of CBS revealing the pair had allowed 8 touchdown passes last season – with Peterson giving up seven.

The Settle Seahawks cornerback tops all players as the highest rated player in Madden NFL 15. Calvin Johnson and J.J. Watt have also received 99 ratings, with Adrian Peterson and Peyton Manning at carrying a 98 rating. Hit the jump to see the next batch of Madden’s pre-season ratings and look for the game in stores and all platforms on August 26th.
