If you waited two years, we hope it was worth it

Still haven’t made the transition to next-generation? Sony is looking to make up for their lack off AAA-tiles this holiday season with the first ever PlayStation 4 price drop! Originally priced at $399.99, consumers can pick up a new shiny console beginning this Friday for the new price of $349.99. The $50 dollar price cut was originally expected at some point this year, which had some of thinking they had eliminated the idea all together but those of you still stuck in last decade can finally use your college refund checks this holiday to make the jump.

Along with the price drop, Sony has also revealed a new Universal Media Remote for the console, which uses Bluetooth functionality to control popular apps like HBO Go, Blu-Ray Disc Player, NFL Sunday Ticket and WWE Network among others. It’s available later this month for the price of $29.99, which you can take a look at some pictures of the remote below.
