Microsoft Announces Xbox One Holiday Price Drop Bundle to $349

From next Sunday until January 3rd, buy an Xbox One!

For nearly a year, Sony has been kicking Microsoft’s ass in hardware sales – not only in the obvious worldwide competitive market, but here in the states. Last generation of consoles, Xbox 360 had significant overall software and sales dominance but that hasn’t been this case this time around. Microsoft released their Xbox One console last November for the unpopular price of $499, which gave the PlayStation 4 an early edge in revenue.

While Sony has enjoyed the $399 price point for a few months, the Xbox One console was price-matched (without a Kinect) last May. The console saw significant strides but has failed to catch up to the large lead Sony acquired last holiday. With November approaching this weekend and the biggest game of the year Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare releasing in 7 days (6 if you have Day-Zero edition), Microsoft had no choice to official unveil new $349 bundled consoles for the biggest titles releasing this fall.

The new holiday bundles will not feature a Kinect, but will including some of the hottest games in 2014 including – Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Sunset Overdrive. Our advice for gamers who don’t own an Xbox One and are looking to finally jump into next-generation gaming would be purchasing the Call of Duty bundle, which includes a jaw-dropping 1TB internal hardrive.

This holiday, fans have more options to choose from with several exclusive bundles available at $50 off including:

Available on Nov. 2 in the U.S., the Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle for $349 ERP and Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle with Kinect for $449 ERP features Assassin’s Creed: Unity as well as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on Xbox One. The Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle with Kinect also includes Dance Central Spotlight.

The Xbox One Special Edition Sunset Overdrive Bundle, available in limited quantities now, features a sleek white console and wireless controller, a digital copy of Sunset Overdrive, and special Day One edition in-game items – available for $349 ERP.

The Xbox One Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle for $449 ERP available starting Nov. 3, features a 1TB hard drive, custom console, custom controller and Limited Edition exoskeleton, plus a digital copy of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition.

This special promotion will be available nationwide at most major national retailers in the U.S., including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Microsoft Stores, Target, Toys ‘R Us, and Walmart.

Disclaimer: Promotion runs from November 2nd, 2014 – January 3rd, 2015.
