Meet NBA 2K16’s New Physics System

NBA 2K16 Presents: The Living World

With just three weeks left until NBA 2K16 releases, gameplay discussions have finally emerged. We know the game is going to see a slight upgrade in the graphical department every year just like previous seasons; but we have to say, 2K Sports actually has our excitement this season for the next installment of their simulation hardwood title.

In their new “The Living World” gameplay trailer, Mike Wang, Scott O’Gallagher and Jerson Sapida of the developing team all discuss how they’ve changed the entire feel for the upcoming game. We’re still looking forward to the NBA Live 16 Pro-AM demo on September 15th, but the new gameplay enhancements can’t be ignored – even by the biggest disgruntled consumers of the product every year like us.

The game looks great from description stand-point throughout the clip above and you’re probably saying “2K will find some way to fuck this up again, like patch #4 last season,” but we’re reserving judgment for now. We will say it does look better than last year’s edition and seems less likely to force you into an unnecessary animation when doing a combination of moves – or trying to defend on the wing.
