In the midst of recording his upcoming visual for “Talkin’ Bout” with Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J took a brief break to discuss his upcoming fourth studio album The Hustle Continues. He revealed, the project piloted shortly after the release of Stay TRiPPY last year to set focus on himself this time around with limited features. While the project is penciled in to have one major guest (we’re assuming JAY Z), Juicy remained quiet on who would be appearing on his the album. He went on to say he’s 90% done with the album and is aiming for an August-September release, but could drop the project randomly taking note from Beyoncé.

On the release date of his sixth studio album Mastermind, Rick Ross granted Elliot Wilson the next installment for his CRWN interview series for MySpace. In the sit-down, things open up with the discussing the reasoning for his album title, which he wanted to release a renascence-like body of work catering to his fans from Port of Miami to present.
With Puff Daddy as the mastermind behind-the-boards, Ross wanted to create a Chronic and Doggystyle similarity for the album, having intermissions and skits verses song sequences following each other. There are obvious Biggie comparisons to Ross working with Puff, but the 305-rapper went to make it clear he’s never trying to use Frank White’s legacy to further his career; but only keep his name alive and relevant in the game for the new generation.
Check after the jump to watch all of the above mentioned, ending beef with Young Jeezy, reasoning for signing with Def Jam through Jay-Z and L.A. Reid to build MMG and more.

After venting a little about for his want to help change the world and make mediation trendy, he went on to discuss global warming.

The Internet is a dangerous place where things can appear real to the naked eye and sometimes you can’t tell if they’re actually fake or not. That brings us to this video by HUVrTech where well-known celebrities are riding what appears to be a hoverboard straight from the classic film, Back To The Future.
They even got the legend Christopher Lloyd, who played Doc Brown in the film, for the ad to discuss the hoverboard. Though it all looks very real, many (including us), are doubting the validity of this invention. TechCrunch did some digging and found that the company was indeed fake, but went to extreme lengths to make this look legitimate.
UPDATE: Christopher Lloyd confessed that this video was indeed fake.
Currently on a promo run in support of his newly released album (in stores today!), Rick Ross stopped by the Hot97 studios; where after an interview with Angie Martinez, she figured with the title of his album being Mastermind, it was only fitting to challenge Ross to a match of the famous board game of the same name. For those of you who don’t know how to play the game, the object of it is that the codebreaker has a certain amount of tries to guess the correct colors in order that the codemaker placed them in the shortest amount of tries and whoever cracks the code in the shortest amount of those tries, wins.
Sounds pretty easy, right? Well let’s just say, even with his game face on, first time player Rick Ross had a pretty difficult time cracking Angie’s code. After many tries, it was coming down to the wire and Ross was pretty confident that he had the game won, after an early celebration, Angie shut him down and he had to take it to his last try where he finally guessed the correct pattern. Although he didn’t win, he was pretty excited that he was able to complete the game.
The clip was full of hilarity, it reminded us of when Rick Ross and Asher Roth went head-to-head against one another in a series of games and Rozay played Rock-paper-scissors for the first time.

With the release of her a BraveHeart album, Ashanti made her debut appearance on “The World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show”, The Breakfast Club. In the video, the conversation piloted with discussing her new label situation and reasoning for leaving Murder Inc.
During Irv Gotti and Ja Rule’s visit to the show last year, I.G. questioned Ashanti’s loyalty, which she gave her two cents on the situation even revealing going to multiple court hearings during their indictment. Things transitioned to the “page six” elephant in the room, discussing her current relationship status with Nelly and past rumors of Irv Gotti.
Ashanti avoided direct questions for the most part, but spoke on having a strong friendship with Nelly, and debunked Gotti rumors. She mainly centered the conversation on repairing burned bridges done by her former team, and changing the perception with fellow artists and producers being independent.

North Memphis native, Yo Gotti was the next guest to sit-down with Peter Bailey for his NiteCap series. Before the interview begins, Bailey vents on the glorification of “dope-boy” rap, where being on-the-block is more important in today’s culture than having a legit clean lifestyle.
The interview centers on gangster-rap marketing of pop culture, which is still being misunderstood for people who have never lived that lifestyle. After sharing a rare personal story on one of his friends becoming victim to the street life; Peter asked Gotti whether he thought the exploitation of artists telling stories of former people in the streets is only being used for material gain.
The Memphis rapper went on to open up about being one of the rare exceptions of that case, where he used had real life experiences being knee deep in the game as therapy for not online himself, but listeners as well. Hit the jump to watch all of the above mentioned where Gotti draws a comparison from his previous street life and transitioning to becoming an entertainer, using all of his hustling abilities and smarts to become success.
