LA singer-songwriter (and occasionally rapper), Jhené Aiko released her debut EP last November titled Sail Out. While the project received critical-acclaim from critics, fellow industry peers and most of all fans, she decides to give “Stay Ready” another spin, this time transforming into her alter-ego J Henny. Those of you may remember Kendrick Lamar had a verse on the original offering, but Jhené uses the good kid’s lyrics in an official re-release of the track. If you’re still waiting on her long-awaited major debut album Souled Out coming later this year, there’s more hope now that it will be arriving sooner than later.

Tips On How To Date Jhené Aiko

“I’m pretty open minded, so I like to give different types of guys chances.”

If you’ve been plotting ways to get at Jhené Aiko when you see her out in these streets, you should take notes to this clip. As an extension of her spread with GQ, the magazine asked her what she looks for in a guy and different techniques that draw her in. For example, she loves being spontaneous, but doesn’t like surprises. She also likes driving-dates, where you drive and talk with no destination.

Don’t be surprised if we kidnap you on a drive just one time then, Jhené.

Start Dreaming of Jhene Aiko!

R&B songstress, Jhené Aiko has had a breakout year highlighted by the Sail Out EP seen over the holiday and the upcoming Def Jam release of her debut album, Souled Out. Speaking of which, the label released a jaw-dropping spread earlier, featuring the charming 26-year-old beauty for GQ’s upcoming May issue. In the pictorial, she’s soon semi topless (visibility noticeable for our more advanced readers) beach side and leisure affairs for the tasteful affair. Check below to view the beauty, in hopefully the first of many future spreads; when she’s not making music of course.
